Here are some pictures from the Royal Ascot 2012. There would have been more, but my photography skill said no.

These are all unedited, because I was lazy.

Oh, hello people who scrolled down right the way to the bottom of the page. Either this means you looked at all the pictures and got here and said “Wow, those were pretty cool. I looked at them”. Or you were scrolling and waiting for the good ones to start, and they never did.

No matter how you got here, the point is that you are here. I was at the Royal Ascot this year; not sure if you knew this. It was pretty cool. The only problem is that the horses run so fast that it is difficult to get a good shot of them side-on from the cheap tickets I had. Now, you will probably notice that most of the horses in the pictures are facing right.. This indicates that they weren’t actually racing at the time and it also indicates that I am bad at fast focus shots. To be fair on me though, I was trying out my new lens, and I had the Aperture right down to 1.8, which meant it was practically impossible to get any focused shots of them running. I managed. That makes me Ethan Hunt.

The whole day was pretty enjoyable, besides for the rain. And the fact that I lost all of my bets. And that there were a million Australians around. And that I couldn’t find a cowboy hat to wear.

There was this one girl who was wearing this dress, right? And the front of the dress was like a “high crotch” design. However, it was way higher than she anticipated, I think. You could totally see her lady-area, even when she was standing straight. She was wearing matching pink underwear though, so I suppose that counts. I didn’t take a picture cos I may have been arrested for taking photos of an almost naked girl.
